The loudspeaker used in the tutorials is a small 8 ohm loudspeaker rated at 0.25W (250mW), but any 8 ohm loudspeaker should do.
You can buy a speaker, but help to recycle by finding an old speaker in unused or broken equipment. This type of loudspeaker can be obtained from an old PC case or an old headphone set.
Larger speakers can be obtained from an old radio or TV.
